Nutrition Plans and Guidance
It is an understatement to just say that proper
nutrition is important in an exercise program; it is vital.
It is so important that we
have a Registered
Dietician available to clients for private consultations. You
will meet with our Registered Dietician to develop a nutrition plan
that will address your eating habits, any stressors and other triggers
that lead to unhealthy eating and share coping methods to avoid "binge"
eating.
Your nutrition plan will provide the appropriate
daily caloric intake required to achieve whatever fitness goal you
have, easy to follow dietary guidelines to keep you on track and sample
menu choices to substitute for unhealthy choices you might be making.
Your
personal trainer will work closely with the Dietician to understand the plan
developed for you and will work with you on adherence to your fitness
plan. You'll not only realize success in your overall
fitness, but you'll be working to make a profound, permanent change in
your behavior so that you and your family can make wise food choices
and begin to eat healthy and enjoy doing so.

Seminars and Groups
Personal
training to get you fit and lean is only about 35% of the
fight against obesity and ill health. The other 65% is not
only what you eat, but how you eat. Our Fitness and Nutrition
Seminars compliment your personal training efforts. Based on
the latest research and information, our presentations and workshops
are designed to educate you about healthy eating and sound nutritional
principles without being difficult to apply in your everyday routine.
We also offer Weight Management groups in
partnership with
Spectrum Counseling Center next door to the studio.
These are 6-week, open-forum sessions designed to help
"Get your THINKING in line with your GOALS".
The
sessions generally include handouts and takeaway materials so you can
easily put the information into practice, right away.
